What is Secure Trade?

Hipopotamya establishes a strong trust relationship between buyers and sellers through the Secure Trade System. This system aims to prevent fraud and ensure the safety of members.

So how does the system work?

When a buyer places an order, an SMS is sent to the seller, providing the necessary information to deliver the product within the specified delivery time.
During this time, the amount paid by the buyer is held in a secure pool account by Hipopotamya.
The seller is required to take a video recording when delivering the product. These recordings must be kept to provide evidence to administrators when necessary.
After the seller records the video and delivers the product, they confirm the delivery through notifications and wait for the buyer's confirmation.
The seller who delivers the product confirms through notifications that the delivery is complete and waits for the buyer's confirmation.
The buyer must confirm that the delivery has taken place after receiving the product.
With the buyer's confirmation, the payment is transferred to the seller, thus completing a secure trade.
If the seller has delivered the product but the buyer does not confirm within 24 hours, a video confirming the delivery is requested from the seller.
If the video provided by the seller confirms the successful delivery of the product, the payment is transferred to the seller.
If the seller does not provide the video, the payment is refunded to the buyer's account.
